The Boardroom
After Hours

Six months of big decisions, made on your real numbers.

Every week you bring a real decision you need help with. You fill in the template before the call, so your numbers are already in front of us and the session is spent on the decision rather than digging for figures.

  • What to charge
  • When to hire, and whether you can afford to
  • What to stop selling
  • Whether the growth you are planning actually pays

Six months, a small group of founders, and two private sessions with me. Remote, wherever you are.

Why this exists

Your accountant closes off last year.

Nobody is helping you decide next year.

Honest fit

This is for you if

  • The business is working, and the decisions now are about what to do next, not what to fix
  • You want advice based on your actual numbers, not general business advice
  • You're happy to talk about your actual figures with a small group of founders doing the same
  • You want a straight answer more than a comfortable one

It isn't if

Who's in it

You know your numbers. You still cannot see the way forward.

You know your numbers well enough now. The pricing is better than it was, you pay yourself something reasonable, and the business doesn't frighten you the way it used to.

And you have hit a wall. Nothing is going wrong, so there is nothing obvious to fix. But the next decisions are bigger and much harder to undo, and there is nobody around you who can work them through with you.

That's what this room is for. Six months of the same founders making real decisions in front of each other, with a chartered management accountant in the room rather than another coach.

Worth saying plainly. This isn't a course with a community bolted on. There's no video library to fall behind on. It's a room, and it works because the same people keep showing up to it.

The model

Profit Stacking, applied to your business.

Nine moves, in three stages, each one built on the one before it. It is the same Profit, Power, Freedom you have read everywhere else on this site, except here it is the actual work, done on your numbers over six months rather than described.

The Profit Stacking Framework Three stages with three strategies each. Profit, make it worth it: name your number, make profit inevitable, pay yourself properly. Power, know your edge: know what makes you money, see the money coming, make the numbers move. Freedom, build it your way: make yourself optional, make more without doing more, sell less and make more. NAME YOUR NUMBER Know exactly what the business needs to deliver you. MAKE PROFIT INEVITABLE Build the margins, pricing and model that create it. PAY YOURSELF PROPERLY Turn business profit into actual personal financial reward. PROFIT MAKE IT WORTH IT KNOW WHAT MAKES YOU MONEY See exactly where you win, leak or leave money. SEE THE MONEY COMING Get ahead of what's coming so you can lead, not react. MAKE THE NUMBERS MOVE Use your KPIs to make faster, stronger, bolder decisions. POWER KNOW YOUR EDGE MAKE YOURSELF OPTIONAL Build a business that runs without you at the centre. MAKE MORE WITHOUT DOING MORE Leverage your team, time and resources like a boss. SELL LESS. MAKE MORE. Build an offer mix that's profitable without the chaos. FREEDOM BUILD IT YOUR WAY THE PROFIT Stacking FRAMEWORK MAKE THE MONEY WORTH IT. KEEP MORE. LIVE FREELY.
  1. Profit

Deciding what you actually want, engineering the profit that funds it, and allocating it on purpose rather than hoping something is left.

    • Define your goals
    • Engineer your profit
    • Allocate your wealth
  2. Power

Knowing your numbers well enough to price, hire and invest from evidence instead of from a feeling about the bank balance.

    • Master your profitability
    • Forecast your future
    • Command your performance
  3. Freedom

Changing the shape of the business so it delivers, decides and grows without needing more and more of you to make it happen.

    • Simplify your offers
    • Leverage your capacity
    • Liberate the founder
why the order matters

You cannot set aside profit the business is not making yet, and you cannot step back from a business that is not paying you. Most founders try to start at the third one.

Six months from now

What six months looks like.

Profit Stacking is the framework, and this is the ground it covers, in the order the money actually moves.

By the end of month one, you know where you actually stand

What the business earns, what it keeps once everything is paid, and what it is really paying you. Most founders have never seen those three numbers next to each other.

The starting picture

By month two, you know exactly what to pay yourself

We work out the salary you want, what the business has to turn over to fund it, and set up the bank accounts so your pay, your tax and your profit come out automatically every month.

Profit

By month four, you know which work actually makes money

Profit worked out per service and per client, so you can see what to charge more for and what to stop selling. A simple cash forecast, so you know what is coming. And a real number on what your next hire costs before you make it.

Power

By month six, the business runs on fewer of your hours

A shorter list of offers that each earn more, work moved off you and onto the team or the systems, and a plan for growing next year that does not need you to work more nights.

Freedom

What is included

How the six months run.

Weekly as a group, privately when it matters. Profit Stacking sets the direction, and each week starts with whatever decision you have actually got in front of you.

Weekly boardroom sessions

The full group. You bring the decision you are stuck on, we go through your figures together, and you leave knowing what you are going to do about it. Everyone gets a turn.

Every week · Live

The decision templates

A short form for each kind of call: a price change, a hire, a client you think is losing you money, a piece of equipment you are weighing up. You fill one in before the session, and you keep them long after the six months.

Yours to keep

Two private sessions

One to one with me, for the things that don't belong in a group. Pay, partners, exits, the numbers you haven't said out loud yet.

Across the six months

The decisions we work through

Pricing and repricing. What capacity you actually have. When to hire and what it really costs. Cash and forecasting. What the business is building toward, and whether it can carry it.

Led by what's in front of you

Small enough that I know your business

I know your numbers, your clients and what you are working towards, so you are never starting from the beginning or explaining yourself again. Everyone gets time every week, not just whoever speaks first.

Rolling intake · Small group

If you have done Profitable & Paid

What you get here that the sprint does not give you.

The sprint is six weeks and a fixed run of work: your number, your pricing, your allocations, your costs. It is the foundation and it does its job. This is what sits on top of it.

You bring the decision, every week

Both have a framework. The difference is that the sprint runs to a fixed six week order, and here the framework runs underneath while the session itself starts with whatever is in front of you that week. A quote you are not sure about, a hire you cannot decide on, a client you suspect is losing you money.

Roughly 26 sessions across the six months

Two private sessions with me

The sprint is group only. Here you get two sessions one to one with me, for the things that do not belong in a room: your own pay, a partner, an exit, a number you have not said out loud yet.

Not available at sprint level

Pricing, hiring and growth, gone into properly

The sprint introduces this. Six months is where it gets done properly: profit worked out per service and per client, a cash forecast you keep updated, what your next hire really costs before you make it, and whether the growth you are planning actually pays for itself.

Six months of it, not one session on it

Six months is long enough to know if it worked

Six weeks gets the prices live. Six months is two BAS cycles and two quarters, which is long enough to see whether the change held, and to fix it in the room if it did not.

Six months, not six weeks
