The Penthouse

Your own private CFO, without the salary.

Private CFO strategy for founders who want more from the business they have already built.

Your business is successful. The revenue is there, the team is there, the clients are there. But bigger businesses come with bigger financial decisions.

  • Can I afford the hire?
  • Is this offer actually profitable?
  • Should I raise my prices?
  • Why is revenue growing faster than my bank account?
  • How much can I safely pay myself?
  • Where should I invest next?
  • Can the business afford the life I want it to?

And at this level, guessing gets expensive.

Those same questions get worked through in The Boardroom, and for most founders that is the right room. Four things are different here.

  • You do not have to know what to ask. I am inside the business with you, looking ahead, so I raise the thing before it becomes the problem. Not "here is the answer to your question", but "before you hire them, let me show you what this does to your cash over the next six months".
  • I think commercially with you, rather than teaching you to. The Boardroom builds your financial judgement. This adds senior financial capability to your business.
  • Bespoke analysis, not frameworks. Proper modelling on your actual numbers, including whether a six figure investment pays back and over how long.
  • Nothing is off limits. Your own pay, a partner, an exit, selling the business. The things you would not put in front of eight other founders.

Why it exists

Not another report to read.

Not another meeting about last month.

Honest fit

This is for you if

  • The decisions in front of you are things like buying, hiring, partnering or selling, not fixing something broken
  • You want the modelling done for you, so you can make the call rather than build the spreadsheet
  • You want a straight answer from someone qualified more than a comfortable one
  • You'd rather pay once for the right answer than three times for the wrong one

And it isn't if

  • You still don't know what you keep. Profitable & Paid is $1,997 and does that job
  • You'd get more from a room of other founders. That's The Boardroom After Hours
  • You want someone else to make the decision. I will build it, model it and tell you what I think. The call stays yours

Who this is for

A CFO in your corner who knows your business.

The Penthouse gives you someone who knows your numbers and helps you make the decisions that determine what happens next.

Commercial financial strategy that helps you keep more of what you make, make stronger decisions, and build a business that creates wealth for you rather than just revenue around you.

The Penthouse is not for founders who need help reading a P&L. It is for the founder who has already built something substantial and wants a financial partner helping them answer the bigger question: how do I make this business work harder for me?

What changes

What changes when you have a CFO in your corner.

  • You pay yourself properly, on purpose, every month.
  • You know exactly where the business is making money and where it is leaking it.
  • You make the hiring, investment, pricing and growth calls with the numbers behind you.
  • You take money out of the business without wondering whether you will have to put it back.
  • You build personal wealth outside the business, not just inside it.
  • You stop being the only person carrying the financial future of the business in your head.

If you have built a business capable of generating serious money, you should be feeling the benefit of that personally.

What you actually get

What is included.

Structured around the decisions in front of you rather than a calendar, so the work lands where it actually matters.

A paid health check first

Before anything begins I go through your file properly and produce a written picture of where the business actually is. That is the baseline everything else works from, and it stops the first two sessions being digging through old records.

Month zero · Included

Month one: your wage, your pricing, your capacity

Month one is the full framework applied to your business rather than taught in the abstract. Freedom Number, pricing, allocations, capacity. Done properly once, so the remaining five months are about decisions rather than foundations.

Month one

Weekly strategic sessions

Every week. You tell me the decision, I go away and do the work on it, and you come back to a finished answer: the numbers, the options, what I would do and why. You are never handed a task list.

Every week, across six months

Access between sessions

Decisions don't wait for the calendar. When something lands in the meantime, you get an answer rather than a diary invitation for a fortnight's time.

Throughout

Should you spend six figures on that capital investment, and how long before it pays you back?

You bring the quote and I build the model. What it costs to run, what it has to bring in to be worth doing, how many months before it has paid for itself, and what it looks like if it takes twice as long as the salesman says. The same net present value modelling a bank or a board would want to see before backing it.

Built on your quote, not a rule of thumb

Worth saying plainly

What you are actually buying, and what it would otherwise cost.

$200m The scale of numbers I carried responsibility for inside corporates, before any of this. Not theory. Signed off.
$250k+ What a full time CFO costs in Australia. Every year, plus super.

The Penthouse is $30,000 for six months, and you get the part that changes the outcome rather than the headcount.

Worth being straight about

The offer is new.
The work isn't.

The Penthouse is not a coaching programme pulled out of thin air. It is built from the work I did as a CFO: interrogating the numbers, modelling decisions, challenging assumptions, working out what actually makes money, deciding where to invest, and helping the people in charge make commercial decisions with the financial consequences in front of them.

I have taken that level of financial thinking and brought it into the room with one founder.

Your business. Your numbers. Your decisions. A CFO sitting beside you while you make them.

The honest comparison

The Boardroom, or The Penthouse.

Most founders should start in The Boardroom. This is what actually separates them, so you can pick the right one rather than the expensive one.

Before you ask

The questions that come up.

Do I need to use MicroChilli for bookkeeping?

No. Keep your bookkeeper. If the file needs work before we can use it, we sort that first and quote it separately, so we aren't spending strategic sessions on digging through old records.

Do I have to do The Boardroom first?

No. It's open to anyone who fits, and the framework is delivered inside it in month one rather than assumed.

How is this different from bookkeeping?

Bookkeeping hands you a picture of what already happened. Here I do the work on what happens next: I build the models, run the numbers on the decision in front of you, and bring you the answer with my reasoning. You are not doing homework at this level. You are deciding.

Why is it by application?

Because I can only hold a handful of these at once and do them properly. It's a capacity limit, not a marketing device.

The standard

Stop putting yourself on the sale rack.

Make yourself expensive.
